Guide for Florida contractors
Florida bid portals and the accounts they need
Updated November 2026
Florida buyers post bids on their own websites, on the state and federal systems and on bid portals. Most portals want a free account before you download documents or send a bid.
Do you still need accounts on the bid portals?
Often, yes. BidSignal tells you about a bid, but the buyer decides where its documents live and how bids go in, and most portals ask you to sign in for both.
Most of those accounts are free. DemandStar is free for the one buyer you pick and $5 a bid package for others, unless you buy a plan.
City and county bid pages and MyFloridaMarketPlace need no account to read: BidSignal reads them each morning without logging in.
The portals, one by one
- OpenGov Procurement
A free account, and you subscribe to each buyer. 85 of the bid sites we read are OpenGov portals.
- MyFloridaMarketPlace
The state's system: read its bids without an account, and register to do business with a state agency.
- SAM.gov
Federal bids: search without an account, and register at no cost to bid.
- FDOT's CPP
Road and bridge lettings: plans and bid documents download at no charge once you register.
- BidNet Direct
The Florida Purchasing Group: one free Limited registration for every buyer in it.
- DemandStar
Free for one buyer you pick, and $5 a bid package from any other.
- Bonfire, now Euna Procurement
A free vendor account on each buyer's own portal, and the documents need it.
- VendorLink
Free registration on each buyer's own VendorLink site.
Each guide cites its sources and the day we read them.
What BidSignal does, and what you still do
- We read 296 Florida bid sites each morning and email you the new bids in your trade and counties.
- Each bid we send in full links to its official posting, which says where the documents are and how to send your bid.
- We never log in to a portal, download documents for you or submit a bid.
- You register on the portals your buyers use, download the documents there and send your bid.
- Bid Prep, $249 for one bid, fills in the buyer's forms and lays out the pricing sheet. You price, sign and submit.
Register before the bid you want
