What a Florida cleaning bid usually asks for
- A signed bid form with your price per visit, per month or per square foot, as the bid sets it out.
- Proof of insurance, usually general liability and workers' comp, with the agency named as additional insured.
- Your W-9, local business tax receipt and any license the bid lists.
- E-Verify for new hires: contractors on public contracts must use it (section 448.095, Florida Statutes).
- Fingerprint background checks for crews on school grounds while students are there (section 1012.467).
- Your attendance at the pre-bid meeting or site visit when the bid calls it mandatory.
