How to register as a vendor with Clay County District Schools

School district

Clay County District Schools registers vendors through its partnership with an online bid service, linked from its Doing Business with the District page; the district says registering is voluntary, quick and 100% online. Only a Purchase Order from Purchasing or a school internal account authorizes work, and vendors who work without one risk not being paid.

Vendors whose people are on school grounds while students are present, have direct contact with students, or have access to or control of school funds must follow the state law and School Board policy on fingerprinting and background checks of non-instructional contractors. Since January 1, 2021, under Fla. Stat. 448.095, every contractor must use the federal E-Verify system for employees it hires during an agreement, and must require its subcontractors to do the same. checked Oct 31, 2026
