Where to find and send Gadsden County bids
Gadsden County now runs all of its bids and requests for proposals, notices included, through its online bid portal, one place for every bid the Board of County Commissioners issues, and tells vendors to check the Procurement page on the county website as well. Sealed electronic bids are received on the portal up to the published date and time, the portal's clock is the official timekeeper, and no response is accepted after the deadline, whatever the technical trouble, so the county urges vendors to finish well ahead.

For purchases paid with federal funds, the county encourages minority and women's business enterprises to bid, sends notice to firms on the county's, the State of Florida's, the Florida Department of Transportation's or other local MBE/WBE lists, and requires contractors to make good faith efforts to get MBE/WBE participation when the bid specifications call for it.
